We are limiting those who can enter the centre, this includes:
-
Those with COVID-19 symptoms cannot attend training and assessment,
-
Those who have been in contact with individuals who are COVID-19 positive do not attend training,
-
Those who have been told to isolate through test and trace cannot attend training.
Face Coverings
Face coverings are mandatory on entrance to the training centre. Face coverings must be worn when walking around the centre but can be removed when sat down at desks.
Rooms and workshops measures
Social distancing has been adopted to minimise contact between individuals within the centre. Class sizes have been reduced to allow for this. Other measures include:
-
Trainers should maintain a distance from their students,
-
Everyone should maintain a 2 m distance where possible, or 1 m with additional precautions.
-
Student seating is staggered, with no one directly facing another.
Hand Sanitising
Hand sanitisers are placed at regular intervals around the centre, staff and visitors are advised to either wash or sanitise hands on entry to the centre. When entering the practical assessment room hands must be washed or hand sanitised. We have increased signage in the centre to promote hand washing.
Primary Assessments Ltd recommends that hands should be washed or sanitised:
-
On arrival
-
After breaks
-
When entering a new room
-
Before and after eating
Cleaning
We have increased sanitisation of all surfaces within the centre using standard cleaning products. We have a protocol written for a deep sanitisation if someone with COVID-19 has been in the centre. These protocols can be found on site in our COVID-19 folder.
